Mens Shoes where comfort and looks are important...
Some mens shoes in part of our Mens Footwear collection feature Memory Foam throughout the sock to give a soft comfortable base to ease stress on the foot, and a Gel insert at the Toe Ball joint to reduce pressure and extra memory foam in the seat area to lessen the pounding of the Heel Ball when walking.
We carry mens shoes from Anatomic & Co. - 'The Comfort Shoemakers', a Brazilian footwear company, renown for producing comfortable and stylish shoes made to a high quality, and an impressive corporate commitment to fair-trade and human rights, which are the trademark of the Brazilian footwear industry.
Mens shoes from Anatomic & Co. featuring 'Anatomic Gel Technology' are made with padded ankle supports, smooth internal seam, soft sheep leather linings, tumble grain silky leather uppers, full anatomic footbeds and deep comfort cushioning with classic and refined styling. Put simply shoes from Anatomic & Co. are the finest pair of shoes money can buy!
The Anatomic & Co. range of mens shoes consist of a 100% bovine full grained leather, with Shearling Sheep Skin lining, and Leather hinged insole which can be flexed as many times as necessary without breaking for cushioned walking and comfort throughout the day. The insole is divided into 4 layers: The insole has a double layer of foam (polyurethane) and Latex. Polyurethane allows comfort by giving the shoe a memory, it comes back to the original shape once it has not been worn and Latex gives the insole resistance. It also has one layer of patented antibacterial fabric plus one layer of sheep skin.
Again, the Anatomic & Co selection of mens footwear also features a rubber gel in the sole. Its rubber mixed with a special gel to give the sole resistance and flexibility for soft non-slippery walking comfort. The rubber sole manufacturer has a commitment with environmental issues and recycles all the factory waste and components leftovers and is ISO 9001:2002 certified (International Organization for Standardization) and member of the SATRA Technology Centre. These shoes also feature a polyurethane gel which is versatile, flexible, very light and durable.
The thread used in Anatomic & Co range mens shoes is specially developed thread of high quality, which is resistant to discoloration and is waxed to help prevent water penetration. Their construction is 100% stitched through using the McKay method, and the sewing machines used by Anatomic & Co. were developed specially for this purpose and it is difficult to find one of its kind elsewhere. Some mens shoes from the Anatomic & Co. range also have a leather welt making the shoe more flexible, comfortable to wear and pleasing to the eye.
But just because our selection of mens shoes are carefully chosen with comfort in mind doesn't mean they are only attractive to middle aged men. On the contrary, as their stylish design also appears to the younger man, a generation that was used to trainers, and finds it difficult to make the transition to normal shoes with leather soles.
