Brushed Cotton Twill fabric...
Many of the shirts in the 100% pure cotton range from Viyella have a brushed cotton twill finish, meaning the fabric is raised and brushed during the finishing process to remove any excess lint and fibres from the fabric leaving an incredibly smooth and soft finish on the shirt. The raising of the threads during this process also help to increase the thermal insulation of the fabric giving the shirts a warmer feel in the colder months of the year.

As with many other Viyella Shirts, many of the 100% cotton shirts from Viyella also feature a classic fused collar style whereby the inner lining of the collar is fixed in place to both sides of the collar giving it a sturdy, rigid and formal appearance that can look good whether worn with a tie, or without one, although obviously that depends upon your choice of shirt.
The classic fused style collar is also rather durable and adds longevity to the shirt. Some of the 100% cotton shirts from Viyella are also available with a button-down style collar. Button down collars are a type of shirt collar that has their collar points fastened down on to the main body of the front of the shirt.
