Plaid & Brooch...
The plaid & brooch is a wonderful traditional Highland Wear accessory from the Cameron Ross Highland Wear range.
Pictured above:
A plaid & brooch worn together with a blue Prince Charlie jacket, Spirit of Bannockburn kilt, high button waistcoat, Victorian collar shirt, navy ruche, and navy sporran.
The plaid is a long piece of tartan fabric worn on the left shoulder and secured in place by a beautifully ornate brooch and is the perfect way to accessorise a full dress Highland Wear ensemble.
The Skean Dhu...
Traditionally hidden beneath the armpit, the skean dhu (or black dagger) was a stealth weapon for use in close quarters.
Today's skean dhu is ornamental and is worn inside the top of your hose - on the left leg if you're right-handed, or the right leg if you're left-handed.
Safety skean dhus are provided with Cameron Ross Highland Wear outfits as standard, but you can also request a real one if you prefer.
Highland Wear Hirewear Fitting Appointments...
Highland Wear Hirewear Fitting appointments are advisable and recommended especially if it involves more than one person as is often the case for hirewear, in order to ensure that you get the priority service and undivided attention that you deserve. Due to an increased demand for our hirewear range, fitting appointments are also indeed a requirement for Saturday fittings.
Don't forget that our three Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire based menswear stores in the East Midlands are open 6 days a week from Monday to Saturday (closed Wednesday afternoons), and we can assure you of a warm welcome.
Our in-store formal hirewear specialists will be delighted to assist you with any queries you may have and offer their expertise where appropriate with regards to your Highland Wear and Highland Wear Accessory requirements.

Whilst we try and aim to carry a good selection of Highland Hirewear in all three of our shops in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, please note that we only carry a selection of items from the Cameron Ross Hirewear range in stock to view and try out, and not the entire range.
However, please also note that we can easily obtain any item(s) of your choosing available from the Cameron Ross Highland Wear range for hire for your big day as long as the item hasn't been deleted.
