The Ilkeston branch of Sanders Menswear is situated on Bath Street in the town centre. Ilkeston (pronounced by locals as 'Ilson') main industries were coal mining, lacemaking / textiles and ironworking, all of which have declined somewhat in recent years. Ilkeston is notable for being the birthplace to not one but two well-known British actors, Robert Lindsay of 'My Family' and 'Citizen Smith' fame, as well as William Roache, who is probably best known for his role in long-running television soap 'Coronation Street' as Ken Barlow.
Our Ilkeston menswear store is positioned in a prominent high street location on Bath Street, situated towards the northern edge of the town centre.
